How will a new building help our community?
Our move into the Quarryville Borough makes us easier to find, provides ample parking, is within walking distance for many individuals, and backs up to Huffnagle Park, where children can play while their parents attend a meeting or class.
The first floor will be dedicated to our largest ministry: our food bank.
The second floor will greatly expand our ability to serve. New programming space will allow us to host classes or workshops for large groups, while dedicated offices will provide quite, private space to engage with individuals. We will have office space available for partnering organizations, whose services are typically offered in Lancaster City, and difficult to access.
Our community center will be a place where individuals can come and access more of the services they need, saving time and transportation costs.
The third floor will remain a residential apartment because the rental income offsets a portion of the monthly mortgage payment, easing the cost burden on the ministry.
