A COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

Engaging families.
Meeting needs.
Giving hope.

Everyone needs help at some point along their life journey, but asking for help is not always easy. A job loss, serious injury, or a change in family circumstance can often leave someone with little, if any, financial reserves. When a family faces an unexpected roadblock or barrier, Solanco Neighborhood Ministries is your community’s helping hand. By getting to know our clients personally, we tailor services and referrals to meet each individual’s needs, and we work with community partners to surround a person and offer many dimensions of care: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

We Can't Do It Alone

Nearly 25% of residents in the Southern End are without health insurance.  Solanco Neighborhood Ministries provides hope to families in crisis by providing a stable, holistic relationship that alleviates food insecurity and serves as a resource hub to other needed services.

Looking for Volunteers!

In order to continue to help meet the needs of the community, Solanco Neighborhood Ministries relies not only on donations, but also on volunteers. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer must complete an application process and a shadowing experience, in order to determine whether volunteers are a good fit. In addition to helping with events, volunteers are needed in the food bank and for food drives.

Community Partners

Solanco Neighborhood Ministries is deeply grateful for our sponsors, who ensure that we can continue to serve the community and help those in need.
